OUR
MISSION STATEMENT...
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a non-profit organization.
Members donate their time
because they believe in the issues we are working on.

The major
function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is to publicize POW-MIA issues: To educate
the public that many American prisoners of war were left behind after all
previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from
being left behind should they become prisoners of war-missing in action.
We are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars.
Incorporated
in 1995, Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a
class 501 C- 4 non-profit organization
with over 80 chartered chapters
throughout the United States and members
abroad. Our membership is comprised of
men and women with 40-45% being
non-veterans with the balance being
veterans from all wars and peace-time.
Although many of its members ride
motorcycles, a person does not have to
own or ride a motorcycle to be a member,
just the time and willingness to be an
advocate for our troops, veterans, and
POW/MIA’s.

Rolling Thunder® is
NOT a motorcycle club.
You
DO NOT need to own a motorcycle to belong.
Yes many of our members do in
fact ride motorcycles. This has a great deal to do with
the freedom and independence that riding gives and after
all, isn't that what this country was built on?
Many members have served or are currently serving in the
US Armed Forces. Other members are mothers and fathers,
husbands and wives, sons and daughters, or friends of
someone who has served or is currently serving. And
still others are folks who have no military past, but
care about the issues that Rolling Thunder cares about.
So please when you see the vests, patches, pins and
motorcycles, look deeper in order to understand what
we
are all about.
